Ok but not worth the price.

I ordered these in black leather (or patent as they seemed to be incorrectly labeled at certain sites). I'm keeping them. They fit pretty well. They look like they did in the picture. But they seem to be cheaply made. The leather is very thin and slouchy which would be fine but this is not a slouchy boot look. It's so thin that the little leather buckle pulls are curled up from shipping. Hopefully they'll flatten out.



The only reason I'm keeping them is because I got them for under $100 thank goodness and they look cute with jeans over them. Some boots I've bought look like clown shoes if the jeans are not tucked in. These manage to have a nice toe and wedge shape all on their own. Also I should note that they are not very high. So if you are looking for a high boot these only come about mid-calf on me (but I am tall.)More detail ...

Incredible deal!

I've been looking for reasonably priced boots that aren't cheap looking. These are an amazing deal and great quality! They look amazing in person I got the medium brown and it's a great neutral that will go with all colors perfectly. The bottom of the boots defintely are slick but I think after scuffing them up they'll be ok. As far as the running large review ignore it. I read that about this style on several sites and ordered a half size smaller and ended up having to exchange for my real size. They are acutally cut very narrow in my opinion which is great for me but if you have a regular to wide foot than definetly don't order smaller. Very happy with this purchase.More detail ...

Eh

I'm usually a big fan of Madden's shoes- this pair however caught me off guard. It's a bit snug in the foot and ankle area (I am a very slender 6.5 I purchased a 7 because I wear thicker socks in the winter). When I walked on them they felt a little awkward almost like I was going to slip the soles of the shoes feel kind of like hard plastic. I'm going to get shoe horns and stretch them out hopefully that will help. Also from the look of them online I was hoping I could wear them over a pair of skinny jeans. Absolutely no room. I have chicken legs and I couldn't get a pair of jeans inside these boots. Definitely not the boots to get if you're going for that look. I would give it 0 stars if I could

These boots are trash. They are so poorly and cheaply made. The sole is so thin that after I wore them twice the heel had worn down to half it's size. A month and a half later the back part of the heel is completely gone and it has created a hole in the leather above where the heel should be. I wore them in a storm yesterday and my feet got completely soaking wet. I am shocked I have never had this experience with any pair of shoes especially ones I spent 100 dollars on. Great Boots!

These boots are adorable! They match almost everything I own and are extremely comfortable. They are a little narrow (but true to size in length) and sometimes I have a hard time getting my pants tucked into them. It's OK

I was so excited when these boots were available for such a bargain at Amazon. After opening the box and trying on the boots I was really disappointed by how small they were. I'm usually between an 8 1/2 - 9 so I ordered the size 9 thinking I'd wear them with thick socks. These boots seemed like they were at least 1 size smaller. Overall the quality was OK. They aren't worth their regular price of $188. The leather is not the best but I guess that's what you get for $60! I returned the boots but will buy the larger size. They did look pretty good once I had them on. Also for you ladies that don't have super skinny legs the calves run a bit small. You'll really need skinny jeans or leggings if you want to put them over your pants.More detail ...

Fun and funky

I've had my boots for about a month now. Overall I really like them. Appearance-wise they are distinct from a lot of other boots I see out there. I liked the shiny metallic fabric on the inside of the boot. They are very light-weight almost like wearing socks on the bottom so I wouldn't suggest wearing them for a lot of walking nor through wet patches as the water will seep through. They are an unusual shade of gray--almost tan intermingled with the gray. I do not particularly care for the tassles/fringe or whatever you wish to call them on the back. The first time I wore these boots those two tassles acted like whips slinging around from side to side when I walked anywhere. I felt like I should wear a sign: Warning--if you walk too close your ankle will be slapped! Now I just tuck the tassles inside the boot and they seem ok.More detail ...
