I'm usually a big fan of Madden's shoes- this pair however caught me off guard. It's a bit snug in the foot and ankle area (I am a very slender 6.5 I purchased a 7 because I wear thicker socks in the winter). When I walked on them they felt a little awkward almost like I was going to slip the soles of the shoes feel kind of like hard plastic. I'm going to get shoe horns and stretch them out hopefully that will help. Also from the look of them online I was hoping I could wear them over a pair of skinny jeans. Absolutely no room. I have chicken legs and I couldn't get a pair of jeans inside these boots. Definitely not the boots to get if you're going for that look. They are adorable and will go well with a skirt I'm hoping to salvage them with the shoe horns.More detail ...
